Our Story

When Daniel Tabakman was young he was often able to watch things happen that other people ignored. This was a great source of delight for him personally, but not being able to talk about with others got lonely.

On his mission to connect with others through their shared experiences he conducted various psychological experiments on himself, as he went through Orthodox Judaism, post orthodox Judaism, the Rational/Less Wrong Community, Effective Altruism, the post rational community, and TPOT to name a few.

During that time he help run events, host large dinners in the jewish space, start community meet ups in both the Ottawa and Toronto rational scenes, start a not for profit in the Effective Altruism Toronto called ThinkBetter, was scrum master and event organizer for an app called Freestyle Social and ran the first EA for Jews dinner ever.

Currently, Daniel when he is not taking care of his two little boys runs a YouTube channel called Psychotechnologies Live with Elliot Red where he interviews developing psychotechnologists and tests out their creations. He found his social relationships lacking so he co-created his own Toronto based community The Vibe Explorers of Toronto A.K.A VibeX.

On the side when he can he also attempting to bring a new psychological measure, created by RehabStat, for addiction into mainstream acceptance.
